Sjava has emerged to be one of the SA rappers to be likened to Kanye West after he was spotted wearing a Balaclava during a show at Konka in Soweto. Sjava’s Balaclava outfit posed reactions on Twitter after one of his followers compared him to Kanye West because of his outfit.

“Sjava is starting to become kanye west senza imisangano nje naye engaqondakal,” reads the tweet. The Umama singer responded by requesting respect from his Twitter fans and expressing his displeasure with the resemblance. “Please respect me,” Sjava responded.

Sjava has been making waves in the South African hip-hop scene, and his soul-soothing rap music has helped him gain a big following. His most recent collaboration was with Mzansi’s famed Pop duet Mafikizolo. Sjava took to Twitter and revealed his verse on the collaboration with Mafikizolo on the song 10K which was released a few days ago.
