Sjava Reveals Why ‘Umqhele’ Album Was Removed From Streaming Platforms. SA hip-hop followers were left with a lot of questions than answers after they learnt that Riky Rick’s Family Values album was removed from all streaming platforms. A few days later there was a breath of relief after it was revealed that the album was only removed because of license renewal issues.
Sjava has emerged to be another rapper who has experienced the same fate. The rapper made it public that his album Umqhele was also removed from streaming platforms. The rapper took to Twitter and addressed his fans that it was a technical glitch that led to the removal of his album.
“Sanibonani nonke. Umqhele the album is back up on all your favourite streaming platforms. There was a glitch nge album yasuka kuma digital platforms, but that glitch has been sorted and we’re back up!
Enjoy.”❤️ Sjava tweeted.
Umqhele is Sjava‘s second studio album when he was still under Ambitiouz Entertainment. The 18-track album garnered popularity, with one of the tunes, Umama, dedicated to the rapper’s mother, becoming a smash song across Mzansi and beyond. Sjava has also dropped Umsebenzi Deluxe Gold which is his latest project and it has been making waves in SA hip hop. It’s still to be seen if the rapper has something up his sleeves to offer his fans this year.
