Big Hash Reveals The Dark Side Of His Hiatus As He Prepares For Album Release. Big Hash informed his fans a few months ago that he would be taking a hiatus from social media. Since then, the rapper has not been extremely inactive in the music industry, having only been on Lucasraps’ project and YoungstaCPT.
The rapper did state that he is now working on an album, which is why he was not revealing himself to the public as often. However, taking from his recent Instagram post, the Bigger Than Us chanter shared the other dark side of why he has been quiet lately.
Big Hash mentioned that his mother was found with a tumour in her brain and he had days that he thought he was going to lose her as she spent time in and out of the hospital. “In December, the doctors found a tumour in my mother’s brain. She’s spent time in and out of the hospital since. There’s a day when I almost thought she was leaving me behind and I’ve never felt that helpless in my life.” He wrote.
The Big Hash stated that his heart was burdened since he had friends that left without saying their goodbyes. The rapper confesses to having gloomy thoughts and being afraid of the unknown. “Then I had actual friends leave without saying goodbye…my heart’s been the heaviest it’s ever been. Fear did that. Fear of not knowing what comes next. The fear of how dark my thoughts can get. Above all else, the fear of not seeing tomorrow.”
The rapper said that he decided to vent his feelings through his debut album because music is one of his therapeutic outlets. He made it clear to his followers that they shouldn’t interpret his silence as inactive because he is now working on a new music project.
“So I decided to get it off my chest and put it into my next offering: My debut album “Better Late Than Never”…I wanted to drop the deluxe for ARIES and move onto HEARTBREAK HOTEL but real life got in the way and pointed me in this direction…
Don’t mistake my silence for complacency, the boy threw himself into the music, when the final product comes, I hope you understand why.” Big Hash expressed.
