The trio of K.O, Ma-E and Ntukza dished Mzansi with great raps that call for SA hip-hop followers to give the veteran rappers their flowers. Tear Gas appeared to be underappreciated in light of the new sounds developing in the new era of music, with one of its members, Ma-E, being named one of the worst rappers of all time.

Taking to Twitter, Ma-E made it known that he is one of the people who made SA hip hop fashionable in its first generation in the hood. The rapper argued that without Ntukza and him, SA hip hop would not have existed. “The funny thing is y’all thinking this SA Hiphop would have existed without Ma-E and Ntukza being part of the 1st generation that made this genre fashionable EMAKASI! Ma-E stated in another tweet that he made many sacrifices and significant contributions to the game and that he would not tolerate insults from those who lack knowledge. “I sacrificed and contributed a lot to SA HIPHOP to be disrespected by abafana abachel’ ingubo.” He tweeted.
