“That has been my life,” Maglera Doe Boy Reacts To The Video Of A White Man Fighting Three Thugs In Klerksdorp
“That has been my life,” Maglera Doe Boy Reacts To The Video Of A White Man Fighting Three Thugs In Klerksdorp. After defending himself against three prospective attackers in North West on Wednesday, a modest Klerksdorp white man became an internet sensation. Online videos have shown how the middle-aged civilian was able to repel the thugs who were after hijacking his car.
The video seems credible. Not only because of this extraordinary act of disobedience but also because these thieves were so certain that they could commit an offence in the open without being apprehended. Taking to Twitter, Maglera Doe Boy criticized how people have made noise about the video of a white man getting robbed but they don’t do the same when it is happening to a black man.
The rapper further swiped at the media for their lack of coverage of the hardships that black people face every day in the townships. “Can’t believe it took a video of a white man getting robbed for people to care about Maglera. How many times has the SABC been there because of the violent crime in the townships but it never gets shared this much.” Tweeted Maglera.
Maglera Doe Boy continued by saying that he could relate to the footage of the white man being robbed and that this has been his life ever since he was a young child. The rapper added that since the white man is not familiar with township life, he will only encounter such situations when he is in the CBD. He made it known that township people have seen the worst and that’s why people are just looking and not doing anything.
“That video has been life in Maglera since I have been a kid. Everyday. That man sees that only when he’s in town at the department of home affairs (that’s the place he’s in front of) That’s why the black people around him are just watching. They have seen worse.” He tweeted.
This is not the first time Maglera has spoken about the hardships that come with living in Klerksdorp. During an interview he did with Slikour in 2020 in downtown CBD in Klerksdorp, the rapper could be seen constantly checking his back because of the brutal crimes that took place in the area.
