AKA took to Twitter and posted a screenshot of his betting slip that showed a wager he made on the August 27 match between Manchester United and Southampton FC. The rapper placed an R2000 bet and it showed that he won a total payout of R3740. “COME ON UNITED!!! CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 I will be sending half of my winnings to ……… ABSOLUTELY NOBODY!!!! Ayyyyyyyy!!!!” he tweeted.

This year, AKA has made news not for his new music, but for his relationship with fellow rapper Nadia Nakai, which has left tongues churning. With his recent side hustle in soccer betting, tweeps did not take time to conclude that the famed rapper is broke since he has not been making any music. “You’re now doing side hustles 🐐😂 vele yeke ndava yeHip Hop. Uhlulekile.” Read one of the tweets from his followers.

AKA stated that he was only having fun with a tiny R2000 bet in response to criticism that the rapper isn’t producing hip-hop music and is instead trying to make additional money through soccer betting. “Side hustle … bruv, don’t you bet on sports? A young two thou for fun? … live a little.” Tweeted AKA.

The Super Mega was also dragged with claims that he is failing to have bookings for shows hence he has resorted to soccer betting. “Damn booking game is too hard, my 🐐 is doing betway now.” Read the tweet. In response, the father of one told one of his followers that they were giving the impression that he was making a career by selling subpar goods. “You make it sound like I’m selling Tupperware,” AKA responded.

AKA has made it known that he is currently working on new music after he excluded himself from responding to Big Zulu’s 150 Bars diss track. “I’m just focused on making the best music I can for the Megacy. I’ve spent a lot of time on beef and all types of nonsense over the past few years. I will most definitely be sitting this one out.” Tweeted AKA.
