Cassper Reacts To Claims That Big Zulu Revived SA Hip Hop. Someone in SA hip hop has to be credited for delivering the vibe that has been absent in the rap game for a while. Big Zulu has been the main man who has been easily recognised as the one who has sparked the conversation that has been trodden under foot in the game.

Taking to Twitter, Slikour shared a picture of Nkabi Records’ boss praising him for breathing a new life into SA hip hop.#SAHipHop, you’ve been exciting this week. Let’s keep it up!.. S/O to@BigZulu_ZN for sparking the conversation again.” Tweeted Slikour.

Following his verse on Ooh Ahh, where he mentioned that hip hop will only die when he says so, Cassper Nyovest does not believe that Big Zulu is the right man to take credit for reviving SA hip hop. The award-winning rapper stated that his verse on Ooh Aah started the energy and the conversation that is in SA hip hop right now.

In the tweet, Nyovest clarified that Big Zulu’s 150 Bars was a response to his verse on Ooh Aah hence he is the one who catalyzed the conversation. “This all started with Ohh Ahh verse. Let’s research a lil bit. His song was a reply to that. That why he started with the tag “Ke Hip Hop Dawg”. Anyway, as you were!!!!” Tweeted Cassper.

K.O has also dropped his track titled Omegafreestyle in response to Big Zulu’s 150 Bars diss track. The SkhandWorld Chief also agreed with Slikour that Big Zulu is the one who brought the excitement to SA hip hop. “Big Zulu brought back all the excitement SA hip-hop was in dire need of. Respect that man,” tweeted K.O.
