Emtee Takes Offence To Big Zulu’s 150 Bars Diss Track
Emtee Takes Offence To Big Zulu’s 150 Bars Diss Track. SA hip hop has gone undergone different stages since it has been mainstream. Most SA rappers have risen to stardom with some becoming major brands in the Mzansi entertainment industry. The rap game has faced stiff competition from Amapiano with some labelling it a ‘dead genre.’
In a bid to awaken the rap game in South Ah, Big Zulu decided to drop a 150 bars diss track towards all the big-name rappers in Mzansi. Whilst some rappers appreciated Zulu’s diss track with a zeal to respond to the challenge. Emtee is one of the few rappers who did not entertain the diss track.
Taking to Twitter, The Big Hustle expressed that he did not appreciate a diss track that talked about his struggles in the SA hip hop career. The rapper tweeted that Big Zulu’s diss track is all about chasing clout as he questioned if that was the hip-hop revival people have been talking about. “Chasing clout is the new “hip hop revival” yall be yapping about?” Tweeted Emtee.
Emtee further sent a warning to any rapper who consider dissing him in a diss track. “If one more dirty Wack back pack rappin bitch diss me.” Tweeted Emtee. Big Zulu’s song was released simultaneously with Cassper Nyovest’s Put Your Hands Up. a song that the rapper claimed would bring the genre back home. But regrettably, Big Zulu’s trash track undoubtedly took that honour.
Cassper was one of the rappers targeted in the record, yet he appeared to enjoy the song. However, many think that since his recent bars haven’t been very strong, he shouldn’t even try to answer.
