However, even though the aforementioned rappers have received praises for what they have done with the diss tracks, could there be a backstory that triggered all this euphoria in the SA rap game right now? Taking to Twitter, Cassper Nyovest expressed his excitement about what has been happening in SA hip hop for the past few days.

In the tweet, Cassper posed a question as to how this all started. Even though he admitted that he remembers what led to all this excitement in SA hip hop, Mufasa did not reveal what exactly it is. But it was when he mentioned that he had inspired other rappers that certainly got people’s attention. Mufasa went on and name-dropped Focalistic but the “Ke Star” chanter was not having any of it as he refuted Cassper’s claims via Instagram live.
