AKA Calls K.O His Idol Whilst Singing His Praises Following Multi-Milestone. K.O.’s collaboration with Young Stunna and Blxckie on SETE, which was released just two weeks ago, is clearly the song for the summer. The song bagged more than 4 million YouTube views, and after 16 days, it was awarded a platinum certification.
K.O has once again proved his greatness by combining artists with different sounds and being able to create a monster of a song. The SA hip-hop OG has not only received praises from his fans, but his peers in the game have acknowledged his genius. Taking to Twitter, AKA expressed his admiration towards the veteran rapper calling him an idol after his massive success in the culture.
The award-winning rapper acknowledged that he has spent more than ten years trying to catch up to SkhandaWorld boss, whom he called a master of reinvention. AKA concluded by congratulating K.O on the accomplishment of his lead track off the SR3 album. “An absolute animal. A master of re invention. My idol amongst idols. @MrCashtime … I’ve been chasing your level for over a decade now. Your stamina is breathtaking … congratulations,” tweeted AKA.

In an interview with Slikour, K.O stated that during the making of the SR3 album release he allowed himself to consider making it his final musical endeavour. I think as far as creative output, I’ve never been in a better position,” he said. I’m really in a good space as far as creating and just training art. When I started entertaining the idea of this album I was thinking about it in that light that okay cool maybe I might just like you know want to fall back after this one,” said K.O.
