Following the release of his single “Put Your Hands Up,” Cassper Nyovest has received heavy criticism after listeners discovered the misinformation in some of his punchlines.
The verse has given the impression that the rapper is not well-informed about the functions of the medulla in the human body when he said; “My sh*t connects to the heart like the medulla, wooh hah!”
AKA is one of the people who reacted to Cassper’s his verse on his single. The Supa Mega took to Twitter and poked fun at the verse and it either AKA watched the viral video or he listened to Cassper’s song. “Connect to the heart like the meduuuula …. Whoooo haaaaaaaa!!!!” Tweeted AKA.
Despite all the criticism regarding his medulla verse, Cassper took to Twitter and explained what he meant in that verse. “The medulla is connected to the heart but go on with your bad self. Look at you being schooled by a dropout,” he replied to one Twitter user.
With big-name SA rappers dropping successful songs, Cassper also committed to dropping a new single every time a previous track reaches a million views. “I’m dropping a banger on their head tops tomorrow! This song is a celebration for Team Nyovest getting 4 Steps Back to a million views in 14 days. My promise will be kept,” he tweeted.
