Cassper joined forces with Oliver King, better known as K1NG, a musician from the United Kingdom for his new joint. As brief as it is, Cassper managed to let certain things off his chest, which might also include a response to his long-time rivalry.

Tweeps deduced from Cassper’s lyrics in the new song that the Doc Shebeleza chanter fired a shot at AKA, with whom he has been at odds for a long time in SA hip hop. This comes after a resurfaced tweet from AKA in which he was asked about his i8 BMW whip and responded that he sold it along with the X6.

Taking from the lyrics of his new joint, tweeps concluded that Cassper took a dig at AKA for trying to copy his lifestyle but in the long run, failed to keep up and ended up selling his assets. “They tried to keep up and bought what I bought but they ended up sellin’ it,” Cassper raps.

AKA is currently celebrating a milestone for his new single Lemons (Lemonade) after clocking 1 Million views on YouTube. In his new single, the Supa Mega touched on the trend of rappers who jumped ship and joined the amapiano bandwagon. Rapping about the craze; AKA said, “People, say hip hop died that’s nonsense Thank God they showed their true colours Switched up piano like Vultures.”

Cassper and Reason are among rappers who are widely known to have abandoned SA hip hop. For Cassper Nyovest it was for a while and now he is back with his raps again.
