Despite the dispute of the past, the two decorated rappers appear to be on the verge of ironing out their issues. Taking to Twitter, Emtee made it known that he received a phone call from A-Reece with the two aiming to work together again. “Reece hit me up said he got one for us. A phone I’ve been waiting on for a long time REGARDLESS,” tweeted Emtee.

The Hustler admitted that Reece’s call had been on his mind for a while. On the other hand, A-Reece continued and affirmed that he had called his colleague. “swear to G O D .” A-Reece responded. Following their alleged fallout, Emtee stated that even if he criticized A-Reece and other artists who left Ambitiouz Entertainment it doesn’t mean will not work with them.

“My frustration was just that these people left. It means that there’s something they know that they didn’t tell us. So y’all are just leaving us here? I was just mad about that. I was like’ if y’all gonna be like that, be like that.

“I feel like music is greater than words of exchange. Just because I said ‘F you’ yesterday, it don’t mean I shouldn’t work with you.” Emtee said.

A-Reece did not respond to Emtee’s remarks, but in an interview with Pearl Thusi on Behind the Story, he revealed that Emtee had long wanted to quit the label. “I’m gonna put it out how it is. You see, Emtee, he had the same feelings I had about the label and his were probably worse because they were bottled in. I remember we had a show in PLK and I was with him in the Van. It was me, him and Flame and he was like ‘yoh, you can’t even be an artist as yourself in this label because you are marginalized. I think I am going to leave sooner than I thought’– those were his words,” A-Reece said.
