Here’s Why Priddy Ugly & Cassper’s Boxing Match Might Not Happen. Another Celebrity Boxing match is on the card with Cassper and Priddy Ugly getting ready to face off on the 1st of October at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria.

The boxing match will be Cassper Nyovest‘s third encounter after facing Slik Talk and Naak Musiq. With all eyes on whether Cass will defeat Priddy Ugly, who appears to be a more difficult opponent than the previous ones, there have been reports that the boxing match might not go ahead.

According to the Daily Sun publication, Cassper might not be able to face Priddy Ugly in a few days’ time. This is because Cassper weighs more than Priddy Ugly, which is cause for concern in the boxing world. In an interview with the Daily Sun, Priddy Ugly said the boxing match might be cancelled if Cassper doesn’t lose weight.

“We’ll have to cancel the match if he is 95Kg on the day of the match. Cassper is in two or three categories above mine. The last time we went to weigh each other, which was weeks back, he was 32kg heavier than me.” Said Priddy Ugly.

“Cassper has to lose some weight and go down to 90kg, but that will still make him 16kg heavier than me and there is limited time,” said the rapper.

“I hope he can make the weight. He’s still got two weeks. I am also aware that it’s not very healthy to be losing that much weight in a short space of time.” As per Daily Sun, Cassper’s manager has come through and refuted that there is an issue of weight in regards to the forthcoming Celebrity Boxing match.

“We’re not aware of such. But everything is going according to plan and if anything changes, It’ll be according to Boxing South’s advice,” he said. Cassper has been sharing some of his high-intensity training videos on social media in the run-up to his fight with Priddy Ugly.

Mufasa has also come out and stated that if he beats Priddy Ugly his next opponent will be Big Zulu, but if he loses, he will quit boxing forever. “I’m fighting Priddy Ugly on the 1st on Oct, that’s in 2 weeks at Sun Arena. If I lose i will quit boxing forever, if I win I wanna fight Big Zulu next. Nobody want to fight Zulu so ill step up. But first, Priddy Ugly Oct 1st, Sun Arena!!! Get your tickets!!!!” He tweeted.
