MacG Speaks On Why AKA Is The Best Hip Hop Artist To Come Out Of SA. That requires good music and a distinct execution of the craft, and AKA is one of the Mzansi rappers who has managed to stay relevant in the culture.

Super Mega has reaffirmed his status as one of the original players in the game after the release of his new single Lemons (Lemonade), despite going quiet for a while. During the recent episode of Podcast And Chill, MacG did not hesitate to give AKA his flowers.

The podcaster cemented AKA‘s status in SA hip-hop after labelling him the best hip-hop artist to ever come out of SA following the release of his new single. “I think Kiernan is probably the best hip-hop artist to come out of this country after hearing that song,” he said. MacG was accompanied by comedian Mpho Popps on the recent Podcast And Chill episode following the absence of his co-host Sol Phenduka.

Mpho Popps summed up MacG’s opinion towards AKA saying; “you have to give it up to AKA, hit after hit, after hit, Kiernan is actually in love with the music,” he said. “He doesn’t just make music, Kiernan cooks, he goes into the studio and he cooks, he doesn’t go hey what are people liking right now, let me just do whatever the market wants.” He added.

The Super Mega new single has garnered a massive reception with over 500K YouTube views in 4 days. AKA is not only stopping there, but the award-winning rapper has promised that he will be dropping a new album “Mass Country.” He stated that his new project is for every South African and is for the masses, hence the name.
