“NOTA tried to destroy me,” AKA. AKA has endured some kinds of beef in SA hip hop with the famous one being with Cassper. The rapper’s career has been marred with controversial moments but the one that is arguably close to his heart is the passing away of his wife Anele Tembe.

During his latest interview on Sobering Podcast, he unpacked a lot of things about himself. The Fela In Versace hitmaker revealed how NOTA tried to destroy him during the time he was mourning the passing of a loved one. AKA stated that he hasn’t met NOTA but he has disclosed some personal stuff in a bid to destroy him.

“There are some real personal sh*t he did the day after Anele passed you know,” he said. “He flew to Capetown right, was there with me, my family, spending time with my family, my mom in the kitchen, crying my eyes out on the couch all of that stuff.”

AKA further stated that NOTA used everything that he saw at AKA’s house to destroy him and his reputation. “He used all of that information I gave as a friend to try and destroy me, so for me, I think I’m a better Christian now, I have really found a lot of solace in God over the last year or so,” he said.

The award-winning rapper went on to send a message to the controversial music executive stating that he would love to embrace him and talk despite what happened. “NOTA, when I see you will talk,” he said. Advised to give him a hug when he meets NOTA, AKA said; “I will see.”

The rapper has vowed that he is over having beef with anyone in the industry. He also stated that he has to apologise to Cassper Nyovest’s parents for swearing at them.
