Watch! Big Xhosa Announces Partnership With An American Clothing Brand. In an industry where he has claimed to be an outcast, Big Xhosa has never seemed to be discouraged to continue with his craft be it making raps or being an all-rounder entertainer. The Inyile chanter has always been crying foul towards SA rappers who have been sabotaging his work in the game, and the most notable one was the snub to perform at this year’s CottonFest.
With all the rejection, the Xhosa rapper is finally getting the recognition he has been yelling for. Taking to Twitter, the rapper announced his partnership with an American clothing brand FUBU. In the video, Big X claimed that the deal with FUBU is not a small one that can be compared to those of influencers and FUBU understand the type of an image he is.
“Guess what?! I just signed a deal with FUBU and no this is not just some lets a get an influencer to talk about our product, do I look like an influence to you? I’m the biggest artist in the country, I’m the biggest artist in the country right now, FUBU understands, FUBU is smart, they understand that Big Xhosa is where the sauce is at, I’m the most entertaining, I’m the most interesting, plus I’m handsome.” He said.
Not only is he getting recognition from one of the biggest clothing brands, but the rapper is also finally getting recognition from some of the SA hip-hop veterans. Following the release of his track “Again” the rapper finally made it on the SlikourOnLife publication. This came after he called out Slikour for not distributing his music during an interview on Nkululeko n Cultur Podcast. “I appreciate you posting my stuff finally. Let’s keep working,” 😅🔥 he tweeted.
