The famed rapper has been labelled a marketing genius because of how he has managed to put together brands that are worth millions of Rands.

His long-time rivalry AKA has also launched some great business ventures that are worth millions of local dimes, but Supa Mega’s business acumen has been questioned by many in the rap game since he doesn’t talk much about how much money he is making in business. In an interview with SA Hip Hop Mag, the World Is Yours hitmaker stated that unlike the other guy (Cassper) he does not herald too much about his business moves.

I think that’s all about perception I don’t think there can be any debate about Cruz Vodka and what we did and how much millions and millions of millions of hundreds of millions Rands we made for this style. The difference is I don’t really talk about my business moves that much and in working because I don’t believe that’s the right thing to do in business, you don’t about numbers in public,” said AKA

AKA continued, boasting that he originated the concept of rappers endorsing alcoholic beverage brands after he partnered with Cruz Vodka. “I can tell you, Cruz Vodka Watermelon if you look at the industry I opened up that whole thing for everybody,” he said.

“Everybody has a thing now at my turn when I came in we’ve done it for about five, six years now, the industry was completely different, I had to be that guy to go out, which made me a very comfortable person,” added AKA.

AKA’s agreement with Cruz Vodka is about to an end, and he is set to release his own alcoholic beverage. This year, the rapper informed his fans that his business relationship with the company is ending amicably and that a new AKA alcohol brand will soon be available.
