The Supa Mega recently took to Twitter and give clarity on the finer details he had with Reebok. This came after one of his followers gave a reminder of what the rapper previously claimed about him not being paid a cent by the sneaker brand. “Fake tabloids when he’s the one who actually tweeted this. I’m done with ya’ll,” read the tweet.

In response, AKA clarified by saying that he didn’t get any money from the sneaker, not from the deal. The award-winning rapper went on and revealed the amount he was being paid every month for almost 2 years in a bid to give clarity on what previously he said. “I said I didn’t get a cent from the sneaker, not from the deal. I was paid 120k every month for nearly two years I think … hope that clears it up for you.” Tweeted AKA.

Recently, AKA was spotted with the Drip Sneaker brand owner Lekau Sehoana. The post hinted that the rapper was working with the sneaker company, which sparked speculation. Cassper worked with the same business to develop his footwear and fragrance. Twitter users made jokes about AKA appearing to purposefully play mind games with his rap foe.

Taking to Twitter, AKA recently shared images of Drip Sneakers in shopping bags, hinting at a possible sneaker deal with Drip. “Wishing you a Drippy 💦 and Blessed Sunday @DripSportif … 🍋🥤 … proudly South African,” tweeted AKA.
