The single has attained gold status after it managed to garner more than 1 million hits across digital streaming platforms since its release on September 16.

The rapper has made it known that he is currently working towards his album release titled “Mass Country.” Even though the single Lemons (Lemonade) is doing massive success in SA, AKA has other plans up his sleeves to take his game to the next level.

Taking to Twitter, Supa Mega shared images of his previous live concerts as he revealed his plans to repeat what he has done before. AKA stated that he has decided to host a one-man show after releasing his “Mass Country” album. “Actually, now that I think about it … it really is time to do another one man show after the album drops …” Tweeted AKA.

AKA has not kept the limelight to himself following the release of his single, rather the award-winning rapper has also showered praises on Nasty C’s contribution to Lemons (Lemonade). AKA revealed the song was about them being content with where they are in their musical careers during a recent interview on The Episode podcast.

“For me it’s not about, you know his verse is fantastic. For me it’s not no longer about that competitiveness, especially on a song like that. It’s really about making the best art for the fans, and I think he blessed me and I’m thankful for that,” he said.

“For me it’s about vibes right now in my career. I’m making music from a perspective of, I want to make music that I can ride around and listen to in the future.” He added.
