AKA’s Lemons (Lemonade) “Unofficially” Certified Gold. Following a long hiatus from making music, AKA has made a strong comeback with a new lead single Lemons (Lemonade) from his forthcoming album ‘Mass Country.’ The Supa Mega utilized the talent of fellow rapper Nasty C to come out with a banger that has been topping the charts.

AKA‘s new release has garnered a massive reception upon its release and he had all of his fans to thank for pushing the numbers of the new track. Taking to Twitter, AKA shared that the song has unofficially gone gold. In the caption, the famed rapper stated that he awaits confirmation from RISA as he couldn’t wait to celebrate a big win.

“Congratulations to the Megacy. Unofficially Lemons (Lemonade) has just gone gold… awaiting RISA certification … Plaques will be done next week. I couldn’t hold it any longer … WE BACK IN BUSINESS BABYYYY!!!!”

Prior to this, the World Is Yours hitmaker’s new release clocked 1 Million YouTube views in a space of 5 days. The Supa Mega showed much appreciation to his fans following the 1 Million mark on YouTube as he promised to work towards the album release. “Eish the way you guys are going on about this song … I need to wrap this album up ASAP,” he wrote.

The rap might have been enjoying the success of Lemons (Lemonade) but he has also faced stiff competition from K.O. The two have been close allies in SA hip hop but the Supa Mega admitted that K.O’s SETE has been making his life difficult on the music charts. “F*ckin’ SETE making my life a misery!”  Tweeted AKA.

The rapper has not yet disclosed when his long-awaited album will be released, but he has come out and promised good music for his fans.
