Costa Titch’s musical success has been very notable mostly with the number of views he has earned on YouTube. The Big Flexa hitmaker has become the first rapper to surpass the 30 million YouTube views milestone breaking Nasty C’s record of 27 million.
Taking to Twitter, SA Hip Hop 247 Twitter handle claimed that Costa Titch has been a centre of debate amongst SA hip hop fans on whether or not he is the king of SA hip hop following his massive YouTube milestone. “Costa Titch surpassed 30 Million views, Which is the most views by an SA Rapper, but fans debate whether or not Costa is the new King as his song is Piano……Does it not count,” read the tweet.
Emtee responded to the claims on Twitter as he asked for clarity on whether Costa Titch is the king of SA hip hop or amapiano. “King of?” Emtee asked via a tweet. The Hustler came under fire from one of the tweeps because of his question which was deemed to be sarcastic and reduced Costa Titch as an artist.
