Flabba’s Ex-girlfriend Explains How She Stabbed Him By Mistake. The untimely death of South African hip-hop veteran and Skwatta Kamp member Flabba left a detrimental void in the culture and the country as a whole. Flabba passed away on 9 March 2015 after he was “accidentally” stabbed by his then-girlfriend Sindisiwe Manqele.
Sindiwe Manqele was released on parole this year. She was sentenced to 12 years in prison, of which she served seven. She will be under correctional supervision for the remainder of her sentence. During an interview on Podcast And Chill Flabba‘s ex-girlfriend gave an account of how she stabbed the late rapper by mistake.
“We were drunk right, and tempers were high, there was a little okay we had gone out we got intoxicated and there was a bit jealousy here and there from his side,” she said. “We just got like you know these drunk fights and it just escalated because things were said nami, naye we were saying horrible things to each other and it ended up just took the wrong turn.”
When asked if the incident was a mistake, she said yes.
Manqele said the rapper had forgiven her for the incident on the very night he died.
“(I was) definitely (forgiven) by him because we spoke before he passed away.
“I knew that he knew that I didn’t mean to do it.
“He was alive for like an hour but the ambulance took a long to come.
“I wish I didn’t go to that party, I was supposed to be with his mom. If I didn’t go to that party, this wouldn’t have happened,” she said.
During the Podcast And Chill interview, Sindiwe said she will get much into the details of what happened in her documentary. Sindiwe also stated that she had a conversation with Flabba before he died which will be revealed in much detail in her documentary.
