NOTA Weighs In On Why Jay Jody Is Destroying A-Reece’s Rap Career

Reece and Jay Jody released “tufF lucK” first, followed by the album “heaveN caN waiT: thE narroW dooR Vol 1. The album has received millions of streams on numerous music streaming platforms.

A-Reece carries much weight in his collaborations with his older brother since he has a huge fanbase. This has led to massive criticism aimed at Jay Jody. A-Reece’s older brother has been accused of forcing himself on A-Reece’s successful career.

Taking to Twitter, NOTA stated that Jay Jody should stop forcing himself on the South African audiences who do not want to hear his music. The controversial music executive went on to say that the only reason why the music group worked was because of the record label which made him look good even though he was a weak link.

“Jay Jody is literally destroying his little brother’s career just to force himself on a South African public that doesn’t want to hear anything from him… The only reason the group worked was because the label was hot & even the weakest link was strong enough then. So pathetic!” Tweeted NOTA.

This is not the first time NOTA has talked about A-Reece’s rap career. During a podcast interview with DJ Sbu, Baloyi stated that A-Reece has become very comfortable with his rap career as he explained why the Pretoria-based rapper will never be a superstar in SA hip hop.  “A-Reece has proven that he doesn’t have the drive to be number 1, he is very comfortable in being a rapper,” said NOTA.

The music executive advised the rapper from Pretoria to branch out into the hip-hop business and cease relying just on the music.  “You’re not topical unless you are dropping music and we need more than music,” added NOTA.
