Watch! Lucasraps Makes Amend Following BET Cyphers Disasterclass. The just-ended BET Awards had the new wave of SA rappers in the limelight after they gave them a platform to show off their rap flows through Cyphers.

The likes of 25K, Stino Lee Thwenny, Buzzi Lee and Flash Ikumkani all went all in to showcase their musical prowess. There has been a massive cry out in line with the beat that was used on artists during the cyphers showcase and it left a bad image towards SA rappers.

Taking to Twitter, Lucasraps decided to make amends as he released his own version of “Pushing P” cyphers with a different beat from that was used by BET Africa. The rapper addressed his fans stating that what they have heard on BET is not the right standard as he showcase his own rap flows via a video shared on his Twitter timeline.

“To my fans, just had to let you know that what y’all heard on the @BET_Africa cyphers wasn’t the level. Idk who at @BET_Africa let that slide but ye that sh*t wasn’t 🅿️. But here you go guys, since @BET_Africa flopped me.” He tweeted.

It’s not only Lucasraps who cried foul towards the BET Cyphers’ performance and the beat, but tweeps showed their displeasure as they also ridiculed the entire show and how the beat failed to accommodate the rappers. Check some of the reactions from tweeps below:
