Big Xhosa Reveals How He Reacted When Lucasraps Behaved “All Hollywood & Celebrity” On Him. Big Xhosa has been pushing so hard for him to get the recognition he solely deserves in SA Hip Hop. The rapper’s cameo in the game might have triggered a bad image on his side but he has made it clear that the Big Xhosa character is now gone.
With all the blackballing he claimed to have experienced in SA hip-hop, Big Xhosa delivered a final message to SA Hip Hop. In the video he shared on his YouTube channel, Big Xhosa addressed certain issues such as not being called out to perform at SA Hip Hop events. He also addressed some bad treatment he has endured from other rappers and the most notable rapper he pointed out was Lucasraps.
The Almost Time chanter called out SA Hip Hop artists to operate on love as he explained his encounter with other rappers during the launch of Never Ride Mix. “Let me tell you about love you know, for example, I was in a Mash Beatz concert they were launching the Never Ride Remix, and there were a lot of hip-hop artists there,” he said.
Big Xhosa went on to describe his encounter with Lucasraps, expressing his dissatisfaction with how his fellow rapper treated him. The rapper also gave a shout-out to Sjava and Flvme for showing him love something he did not get from other rappers who were at the event.
“Out of everyone that was there you know who came to greet me? It was Sjava and Flvme, not that they had to or other artists have to come and greet me like I went to salute everyone and there is one thing that happened that night that kinda moved me off a little bit, Big Xhosa said.
“I went up to Lucasraps and greeted him and he acted so Hollywood and celebrity on me,” he said. “Before you quote this and misquote this, listen to what I’m gonna say when I greeted Lucasraps the brother gave me those who the f*ck are you vibes.
“You know what was going through my mind, (Lucasraps, you Lucas, I would take it from anyone else but Lucasraps) that’s what was going on on my mind at that time, he added. With him all in his feels following a cold shoulder from Lucasraps, Big Xhosa stated that he went on and checked on the most searched rapper between him and Lucasraps and according to his findings he stated that he is the most influential rapper than the Amo chanter.
“You know what I actually did, I went home because I was bruised inside, I went home and I went to Google Trends and I searched who was searched between me and Lucasraps, only to find I’m googled than Lucasraps, said Big Xhosa. Technically meaning I’m more famous than Lucasraps over the past year.”
Big Xhosa added that he wanted to troll Lucasraps following his findings on Google Trends but the love he has for his peer took over.
“When I got home I’m gonna flame this brother up on the internet but I never did that, this is my first time speaking about this. Love took over. I started taking a step back and asked myself this, did Lucas recognize that it was you? What if he did not see that was you? What if he had a lot on his mind you know?
“What if something was just not going right? How can you be so selfish and think about yourself, those are the thing I thought about when love came over, we need to operate on love that’s what I’m saying,” he said.
