Emtee Reacts To Being Snubbed On CottonFest Capetown Lineup. CottonFest carries some beautiful memories with SA artists coming together and creating beautiful memories through music. Following the passing away of Riky Rick the CottonFest is still living up to what the late rapper wanted it to be and this time around, the concert is heading to Capetown.

Taking to their official Instagram page, the CottonFest organizers revealed the performing acts that will grace the day in Capetown. Big-name artists have made it to the lineup and there are also some big-name rappers who did not get a node to preform at the highly anticipated concert.

Emtee is amongst some of the rappers who did not make it on the lineup. The Roll Up hitmaker took to Twitter and claimed that if Riky Rick was alive he would’ve made it to perform at CottonFest Capetown. “Ricky would’ve made sure I was on this line up. Just saying,” tweeted Emtee.

The Capetown CottonFest will be graced with the return of Anatii, Okmalumkoolkat, Shishiliza, A-Reece, and Blxckie amongst other new school artists.

Despite creating some beautiful moments in April during the CottonFest Joburg, the concert has also been marred with some controversial moments. Emtee is not the only rapper who is appearing to be crying foul towards the event organizers his peer rapper A-Reece also aired grievances when his performance was interrupted.  “They cut me off, is that simple man, they cut me off!” Said A-Reece via an Instagram live video.

Big Xhosa is one of the rappers who has been snubbed for a performance at CottonFest. Taking to Twitter he said that he will build his own since he is not well-liked in South African hip-hop culture. “SA HIP HOP don’t like me my guy, not even stressed about it..They got a whole bunch of unknown high school skrrr skrrr kids there. But no worries if they don’t invite me to their table I’ll build my own.” He tweeted.
