K.O Reacts To Sete Occupying The Number 1 Spot On SA Radio Charts For 9 Consecutive Weeks
K.O Reacts To Sete Occupying The Number 1 Spot On SA Radio Charts For 9 Consecutive Weeks. Welcome to the Planet will remain the tagline for K.O’s music, but Sete has gone as far as breaking records in a bid to give everyone a warm welcome to K.O‘s planet of melodic sounds.
The lead single for the rapper’s Skhanda Republic 3 album has done wonders in SA music and abroad as it has become a global anthem. As it stands, there are no signs of the rapper stopping to celebrate the success of Sete as new ones keep coming thick and fast.
Taking to Twitter, K.O has been set lit into another Sete celebration with the single going 9 straight weeks occupying the number 1 spot on SA Radio Charts. “Izibusiso. 9 straight weeks that’s different @YOUNGSTUNNA_Z @blxckie__,” tweeted K.O.
SETE has received over 10 million views on YouTube in just one month and has joined “Jerusalema” as the first South African song in Spotify history to earn at least 300,000 streams per week for six weeks. The single has also spent 64 days atop the South African Top Songs Spotify charts, according to Chart Base Africa. It has never exited the list since its debut in August 2022.
As if that is not enough, Sete has set on the global stage by occupying the number 1 spot in the UK on the BBC Radio 1Xtra. The rapper could not hold his excitement as he showered praises to his UK fans for showing massive support for his song. “UK fam,” he tweeted.
