Despite recent criticism, the rapper is one of the game’s living legends, and his influence will never be overlooked.

Following the release of his EP Namanje & Forever Ever, the rapper has confirmed that he is currently working on the music videos of the songs from his music project. Taking to Twitter the SA Hip hop OG shared the behind-the-scenes of the music video shoots as he notified his fans of something new.

During the video clip of the behind the scenes of music video shoot, the rapper stated that he would like to collaborate with a Nigerian artist Oh Ma Lay. Even though he did not mention having a collaboration with a South African artist, the rapper did acknowledge that he loves the South African sound but he loves the African sound and specifically the Nigerian sound.

“Who I would want to feature or want a collaboration with in the near future?” Because I love like African sound, I love like Nigerian stuff, I think Ohma Lay I can do dope stuff with him, I love his music, I love his song writing and how he checks his music,” he said.

Ma-E was previously dragged on social media after his name was included on a list of Worst SA Rappers Of All Time. The rapper’s name was listed as number 15 among L-Tido, iFani, Nadia Nakai, Da L.E.S and more.

Ma-E, who was a member of the local hip-hop band Teargas alongside K.O and Ntukza, responded to the claim by saying he felt disrespected to be included on the list.

“The funny thing is y’all thinking this SA hip hop would have existed without Ma-E and Ntukza being part of the first generation that made this genre fashionable emakasi. Wow, the disrespect, They don’t call me Ma-Ezee does it for nothing. Fede S’saba Ganda Namanje.”

Ma-E stated in another post that whoever was responsible for the post deserved a slap in the face for failing to recognize the sacrifices he’s made over the years. “I sacrificed and contributed a lot to SA hip hip to be disrespected by abafana abachel’ ingubo” he tweeted.
