Even though Nota has been Blxckie‘s biggest fan ever since his breakthrough, the music executive had to call him out following the release of the Werrkk music video. Baloyi took to Twitter and scrutinized the new music video stating that the Durban rapper is objectifying black girls.

Nota argued that it is extremely inappropriate for Somnyama to use his reputation to objectify impoverished black girls. The strong-willed Nota further stated that people can’t support a culture that will demonize the dignity of black girls the same way it praises the killings of black men.

Blxckie using his fame & popularity to objectify poor black girls is an all time low for him but look at his role models… We can’t support a culture that dehumanises black women the same way it celebrates the murder of black men. Enough with toxic black culture THIS IS AFRICA!” Tweeted Nota.

Blxckie was trending on Twitter last week following the release of his 9-track album The4Mula. Despite dropping the same day as Rihanna, Blxcke made it clear that he was not afraid of that situation as his body of work went on to receive a massive reception. The project comes with contributions from various artists that include; Mench, fka Willy Cardiac, Killbrady, Scumie, Madumane, and Chang Cello.

Blxckie has been on the move for quite some time. He’s had a lot of success this year, notably with his appearance on K.O’s “SETE” with Young Stunna. A hit single that has gone all the way to break massive records in SA music.
