Priddy Ugly Questions MashBeatz’s Exclusion From SA Hip Hop Awards Producer Of The Year Nominees. The SA Hip Hop Awards have now announced the list of nominees of rappers and contributors that have played a massive part in propelling the hip-hop culture in SA.

As much as most of the nominees are well-deserving and not worthy of contesting against, there are still questions to be answered on some artists and producers who are yet to make it on the list of nominees for the first time.

Taking to Twitter, Priddy Ugly went on and questioned what is it going to take for the famed producer Mash Beatz to be nominated for the producer of the year award. “What more did @MashBeatz_ have to do or produce to qualify for producer of the year?” Tweeted Priddy Ugly.

Mashe Beatz is the producer behind one of the Never Ride track which was nominated for the Best Song Of The Year, Best Collabo and Remix Of The Year. As if that is enough, Mash Beatz also contributed to the production of Thato Saul’s track ‘Okay’ featuring Maglera Doe Boy. The former has been vibrant in the game this year as he went on to bag Best Male Of Year and Freshman Of The Year nominees.

The famed producer and rapper however did not make it on the Producer Of The Year nominees. The category has been occupied by Feziekk, Lunatik Beatz, Herc Cut the Lightz, Zoocci Coke dope and Shaney Jay.
