“Nobody wants to read an article about AKA giving back” – Says AKA

The media is a very interesting space because for many readers the general perception is that the media dictates the content users read, this notion is way further from the truth (for the most part). The media in a true sense is a reflection of it’s audience and their vices.

It will bevery difficult to run a media business that does not seek to appease it’s users interest. In simple English it’s hard to force content down people’s through that they don’t like or care about.

AKA captioned this well in this tweet where he was responding to a question about why there was little coverage for his Scholarship project (We covered it by the way) and why it wasn’t breaking news. AKA responded by saying “Nobody wants to read an article about AKA giving back. Write about how much his holiday costs instead. That’s what people are interested in.”
