Anatii Gears To Deliver “Highest Level” Performance At Cotton Fest Cape Town In Memory Of Riky Rick. Cotton Fest Cape Town will have its maiden edition on December 10th. Audiences can anticipate all of the aspects of the Johannesburg edition of the event, along with the flavour and energy of Kaapstad.
Anatii will be the headline act of the event and the rapper has promised to deliver a memorable show for the people of Capetown in memory of the late Boss Zonke. In an interview with Slikour on SlikourOnLife, the Saga hitmaker made it clear that music and hip-hop fans should gear up for the highest-level performance at the event.
“On the highest level, Cotton Fest is gonna be a movie headlining Cape Town 10th of December party in Island Party,” he said. “The last time I checked it was almost sold out I mean that was last week. Anatii went on and dedicated the event to Riky who passed away in February this year.”
“We are here just in memory of our brother Riky, you know like I think you know even in rehearsal like you don’t realize the impact our, not even just colleagues because it’s like we’re really brothers we really you know on that level when we creating with each other, we married.
“We married within this thing of our music, within the holy matrimony of music with the holy matrimony of creation because we are all tapped into that level for us to like tap in and create you know we have like collaborate on that level.” Said Anatii.
Anatii continued by expressing his gratitude for being the headline act for the next Cotton Fest and his readiness to continue Riky’s legacy by giving a performance of the greatest calibre. “I’m really grateful you know because you know Riky would’ve wanted this, Riky would’ve wanted to be on the highest level,” he said.
“I think carrying on that vision and that lineage and that legacy you know that’s what we are all here to do. If I wasn’t here I feel like others would do the same, you hop that stage and do the things so that’s what we’re gonna do on the highest level.”
