Emtee On Why He Is Protecting Himself With A Bulletproof Vest. Emtee is not new to the life of gangsterism as he made it plain clear that he grew up in the streets of Joburg where he has witnessed all the brutal killings and drug abuse.
Growing up to be where he is now, Emtee has become one of the rappers who has been denouncing all the bad activities that happen in the streets even though he admitted to having been raised by thugs and hookers.
In an Instagram Live video that has been doing the rounds on social media, Emtee can be seen wearing a bulletproof vest stating that he is protecting himself. “I’m moving like a secret agent now, I got a bulletproof on, n*ggas wanna kill me,” he said.
In a bid to avoid a brutal killing like what happened to DJ Sumbody, Emtee is already equipping himself with protective gear. Last month Mzansi awoke to the news that DJ Sumbody had died after being shot in his car by unidentified guys. “N*ggas said they gonna do me like DJ Sumbody, I’m not going for it, no sir,” he said.
This is not the first time Emtee has spoken about being petrified about people getting shot. In September, the rapper took to Twitter and revealed that he witnessed three shootouts before he started performing as he likened his life to a movie. “Had a show in the Yeo (2198) last night n there were 3 shootouts before I performed. Did it anyway. My life is a movie.” Tweeted Emtee.
