Nota Explains Why Emtee Will Not Release ‘DIY 3’ Without His Permission. Nota and Emtee have been at loggerheads with each other recently, with the brash music executive calling out Emtee to stop taking drugs and check into rehab.
The slain rapper is currently working towards the release of the DIY 3 album but Nota has brought some contractual lingos as to why Emtee will not release the DIY 3 project without his permission. Taking to Twitter, Nota stated that Emtee must do the right thing and apologize to Ambitiouz Entertainment first before he thinks of dropping his body of work.
“Contractually speaking Emtee can’t release an album called #DIY3 without my express permission & I won’t give him permission unless he unconditionally apologises to @Ambitiouz_Ent… Question is, do you really want #DIY3? Tell him to do the right thing or else you’ll never get it!” Tweeted Nota.
Emtee has been outspoken about his next album and has stated that it would be finished in 2023. The rapper also said he would offer his followers a chance to express their own preferences for the album’s style. “DIY3 IS A PROCESS ALL MY SUPPORTERS WILL BE INVOLVED IN. From cover art, the progress and suggestions (Not demands) will be highly appreciated #DIY3 2023,” he tweeted.
In a podcast interview, Nota shared that he had placed a deal for Emtee that will enhance the rapper’s career under conditions that he get himself into rehab. Baloyi also lamented that the rapper is not being a good example to his children and he should change his behaviour.
I offered him a deal but I took it off the table, well, that’s still on the table but I didn’t enforce it, it’s still on the table, everything is still there,” he said. “He sat on the dotted line and everything else but I want him to go to rehab first that was the condition under which I enforce the deal.”
