Zingah Explains Why He Wants To Venture Into Event DJing. Talk about an eventful year in the SA hip-hop 2022 will arguably go down as the one for the books. A lot has happened in the past 11 months both positive and negative and for Zingah it’s one of those he will reflect on and have flashes of mixed feelings.

Even after he announced his retirement from music, the rapper did not stop to remain relevant within the SA Hip hop culture. The famed rapper has managed to keep the conversations going with his Choppin’ It With Bhudha T as he managed to host relevant names in the industry. Taking to Twitter, the former CashTime member revealed his plan to venture into another career in club DJing.
The rapper asked his followers how long it takes to learn to become a DJ as he aims to become a Disc Jockey and play at the Nkwari event. “How long does it take to learn how to be a DJ? I wanna start playing at the nkwari when we hosting,” he tweeted.
Zingah will host the next Nkwari festival, which will be inundated with DJs, which may have inspired him to consider being a disc jockey. Following his retirement from music, Zingah stated that there is more to life than making music as he labelled the music industry as an unhealthy space. “This is just about me closing a chapter, I’m no longer a musician so don’t expect music from me.”
“I enjoyed the ride, there were ups and downs. It’s been a great experience but I don’t think I’m going to give up my entire life to just doing that. I’m about creating a better space for myself now and exercising self-love by action.”
