Touchline Truth Explains Why He Will Not Perform At Cotton Fest Despite Being On The Line-Up. Touchline Truth has been having a successful run in the South African hip-hop scene, with his music elevating him to the ranks of promising newcomers.

The rapper’s contribution in the past years has made him gain notoriety amongst the fanbase and he has attracted call-ups to some big music concerts including the Cotton Fest.

Cotton Fest organizers recently published the slate of artists that will perform at this year’s festival in Joburg, and Touchline was one of the rappers who made the cut. Taking to Twitter, the young rapper however revealed that he will not be available to perform on the day.

Touchline said that he was not consulted about his inclusion to perform at this year’s Cotton Fest. He stated that his inclusion to perform at the event does not align with his plans hence he will not be available.

“Good day My team wasn’t contacted regarding my availability for @CottonFestJHB and my inclusion on the line-up was not confirmed by me or my team. Unfortunately this does not align with my schedule. Sorry to my fans and fans of the event, but I won’t be able to make it. Regards.” He tweeted.

Recently, Touchline took time to thank his fans for the massive support they have given him since his cameo. This came after his project S.O.O.N 2 reached 2 million plays on Apple music. The rapper made it known to his fans that he will be back with more music once he has more to give. “Kancani Kancani. Grateful for #SOON2 and everyone that worked on it. This is an even bigger year. I’ll be back when I have more to give you. Peace,” he tweeted.
