A-Reece Responds To How He Handles Being Compared To A Lot Of Rappers. A-Reece labelled himself the best rapper in Africa, and the declaration was supported by his ever-loyal Slimes fanbase. The rapper has been in the game for a while and his impact has led him to be compared to other big-name rappers both in SA and beyond.

During an interview with DJ Sbu on the Hustler’s Corner podcast, the Paradise hitmaker was asked how he handles his success that comes with a lot of comparisons to many rappers. “You get compared to a lot of rappers all of the time, how do you handle that? Let me say your greatness gets compared to a lot of rappers all the time,” asked Dj Sbu.

In response, A-Reece said; “I don’t know how to feel about that you know, it’s a good thing and its bad thing I guess,” he said. “Because who wants to be compared right? I can only be the best me, but it’s like at the same time, okay everyone is really like I’m so dope everyone just has to, there’s a person or someone who just has to find something that’s lacking or just you know what I mean, too much in this guy’s career and that just means I’m doing something.

“There is something that’s happening for you to do that, for you to go and be like Im gonna compare this n*gga to Reece because you know what I mean, if my name is in your mouth then I’m still out here.”

The rapper went on to say that he doesn’t know how to feel since he doesn’t pay much attention to all the comparisons. “I don’t know how to feel, I don’t pay much attention to it, maybe that’s why but I don’t know man, it is what it is dope things happen right,” said A-Reece.
