Yanga Chief Opens Up About Making ‘UTatakho’ Despite Not Having A Father Nor Being A Father Himself

Riky Rick gets emotional listening to Yanga!

Yanga Chief Opens Up About Making ‘UTatakho’ Despite Not Having A Father Nor Being A Father Himself. A lot of children have a story of how the grew up without fathers, others make best out of the situation while others remain crippled by the absence of that fatherly love.

Rapper Yanga Chief released a top charting single back in 2018 titled uTatakho which means your father. At first he wasn’t clear on how he related to the song but has later revealed a heartwarming story. Speaking to Riky Rick the award winning star shared that he never had a father and doesn’t have a child of his own.

“I made a song called Tatakho, I don’t have a father. I am not a father. At the time when I made it I had no experience. The role and importance of fatherhood like I also have the same problems. I have a brother who is a year older than me,I remember when I was a kid I wanted to learn how to drive but my brother did. I was in the backseat while they were teaching him.”

As much he felt he got to grasp how to drive, when it was his time to be taught he claimed his father told him to ask his brother to teach him.

“And that’s how the rest of my life was with my dad when he was around,” said Yanga.

Riky expressed shedding a tear hearing the story of the Chief.  “Man ?? I shed a tear listening to this right here. Grateful to hear these stories coming from guys who have made it in life.”
