The Supa Mega left a significant void in the South African music scene because it symbolized national harmony. Taking to Twitter, the prominent SA Hip Hop DJ, DJ Double D stated that AKA‘s passing is a massive blow to Mzansi.

The prominent DJ said that there will never be another artist who will unite South Africa like AKA and the SA hip hop game will never be the same. “There has never been an artist that can united South Africa like MEGA, all races, all genders, all ages! The game won’t be the same !” Tweeted DJ Double D.

The Supa Mega will be remembered for all the good music that he released along with all the artists he has worked with in Africa. The rapper recently released the tune ‘Prada,’ which features fellow South African rapper Khuli Chana, as he proceeded to promote the new album he was looking forward to sharing with the public this month. 

His most recent Instagram post shows him exposing himself to bright light, along with a series of photographs of him and his staff in the studio.
