Kddo Pays Tribute To AKA Following Their Joint Release “Company.” AKA was set to release a brand new album in Mass Country this month. However, following his brutal passing, the Forbes family have still decided to go ahead with the plan to release the body of work next week.
Today, the Megacy fanbase has been treated with a brand new track Company from the Mass Country album. AKA once again utilized the musical prowess of Nigerian artist Kiddo on the song. Taking to Instagram, Kddo paid his last respect to AKA following the release of their joint release. Kddo also acknowledged the efforts that AKA infused during the making of Mass Country album.
The Nigerian rapper revealed the big plans he and Supa Mega had as they were working towards the release of the Mass Country album. “I know how much this project meant to you. You put your heart and soul into this shit and that’s one thing we shared, the passion for creating undeniable art.
“We planned to shut the continent down together again like we did in ‘19 and take it global this time. It feels so surreal, so painful. Heaven gained a rockstar. Megacy is the Legacy for life. Love you brother #LongLiveSuperMega 🙏🏿🕊️ @akaworldwide – ‘Company’ Out Now,” wrote Kddo.
AKA and Kddo’s collaboration began in 2018 when the two joined forces and released Vela In Versace. The release of Company has joined the other three lead singles from the Mass Country album. Before he passed away, AKA dropped Lemons Lemonade, Prada, and Paradise and all these songs are quite similar considering the sound that the Supa Mega was exploring.
