Since then, the rapper has failed to create top-charting singles, which has contributed to his demise. During a recent interview on MyDMs Podcast, Ifani’s fellow Xhosa rapper Lolli Native did refute claims that the iingoma Ezimnandi hitmaker messed up his rap career. This came after the Ivangeli chanter was asked; “where do you think Ifani messed up?”

In response, the Emtee Records signee stated that he doesn’t think Ifani messed up, rather he believes that he opened doors for Xhosa rappers like him. “I don’t think IFani messed up, he did what he was supposed to do and sometimes it doesn’t last as long as other people. So I don’t think he messed up,” he said.

“We are here because of people like IFani, you have no choice but to take it. So he said his bar and moved on, I don’t feel he messed up,” Lolli Native explained. Recently, IFani took to Twitter and revealed his plans in a bid to revive his music career.

The rapper shared that he is currently working on his 3rd Quadrant project and he is aiming to work with a reputable recording label preferably Universal. “3rd Quadrant under construction 🔨 Another song done ✅ Record label ⭕️- pending (And praying for Universal 🙏🏾) Publishing” ✅ Tweeted IFani.
