Sjava’s Participation At The DSTV Mzansi Viewers’ Choice Awards At Stake! It’s not been a great week for Sjava and it looks like the nightmare is far from over. It’s not clear to see whether his career is ever going to recover from this or we’re watching his downfall.
Just a day after the announcement that he has been axed out of performing at the Cape Town Jazz festival , MultiChoice is considering Sjava‘s participation at the DStv Mzansi Viewers’s Choice Awards following the rape accusations leveled against him by Lady Zamar.
According to Sowetan Live, MultiChoice was still considering if Sjava, who is nominee in the two biggest categories at the DStv Viewers’ Choice Awards would be allowed to participate at the ceremony which would be held on Saturday 14 March 2020.
Sowetan reported that MultiChoice lawyers, the production and Sjava ‘s management were in dialogue on the Umama hitmaker’s involvement and according to Ntabiseng Motsei, MultiChoice’s publicist who spoke to Sowetan Live, the announce on his participation was to be on Wednesday.
Rape accusations against Sjava by Lady Zamar came to light back in October 2019 when the My Baby hitmaker took to social media that Sjava raped her in 2017. This week it was reported Lady Zamar had opened a rape case against her ex. Sjava has however denied these accusations in a statement he made on twitter.
