“I miss you Hip-hop, I will be back” – Cassper. Since making his presence in the hip-hop music industry a decade ago, Cassper Nyovest has had a significant influence. The rapper’s effort has been recognized when he received the Artist of the Decade honour.
The rapper is more appreciative of who he has become as a result of the culture as he observes 50 years of hip-hop as a genre. In an Instagram video he shared, the rapper said that everything he has in his life is because of hip-hop as he expressed his gratitude. “Ey I just wanna let you know that hip-hop gave me all of this, you know what I mean,” he said.
“I just wanna give a big shout-out to hip-hop, if it wasn’t for hip-hop I wouldn’t have all of this, you know what I mean, all of this. This is light even, it’s not even twenty per cent. I just wanna give a big shout-out to hip-hop man, hip-hop saved my life, hip-hop gave me bread, it gave me star, it gave me swagg.”
Mufasa went on and echoed that he miss hip-hop and he will be back to dominate the game. “Happy birthday hip-hop, 50 years of hip-hop, I miss you hip-hop, imma be back y’all n*ggas get ready,” he said.
Cassper Nyovest has said in one of his tweets that he is currently working on dropping a masterpiece album. But he made it clear that he doesn’t know how long it will take to complete his music project. “I been in the studio messing around. Don’t know how it’ll take but I wanna create a masterpiece. I owe to myself.” He wrote.
The rapper has asserted that he is delaying the release of new music because he is not in the appropriate frame of mind right now. “It’s gonna be a min. Still tryna find my feet. I’ll drop an album when the people want an album. For now, ke no relaxer and live my real life. Music also has to come from a real place,” tweeted Cassper.
