K.O Lauds Blxckie & Young Stunna After Scooping 7 Metro FM Awards Nominations. K.O’s Afro-beat-induced SETE dominated the music charts last year and it was no surprise that it went on to be one of the biggest songs in the country. SETE faced competition from AKA’s Lemons Lemonade on the radio charts, but the track was just too good and it maintained its prowess at the summit for 19 consecutive weeks.
Ahead of the forthcoming Metro FM Awards, the rapper is bound to reap the fortunes of his hard work. At the just-ended Metro FM Awards Nomination Ceremony, the veteran rapper managed to scoop 7 nominations. The SkhandaWorld boss was nominated for Song Of The Year, Artist Of The Year, Best Collabo, Best Hip-Hop Artist, Best Male Artist, Best Music Video, and Best Viral Challenge.
Taking to Twitter, K.O. took time to appreciate his fellow artists who made SETE’s success a possibility. The inclusion of Blxckie and Young Stunna on SETE proved to be a game changer as the said artists left their souls on the track. Mr CashTime also urged his fans to go and vote for him in order to bring the awards home.

Despite SETE’s success, K.O. saw it fit to release a remix for the song. The remix features the crème de la crème of African Music such as Diamond Platinumz and Nigerian singer Oxlade. The rapper said that he made the remix in a bid to create something organic and also to bring West and East Africa together.
“I chose Oxlade and Diamond Platnumz because I wanted to make it organic, and they bring the west and east of Africa together, which is what I had hoped for,” said K.O.
