His feature with AKA on the song Lie 2 Me was one of the tracks that gained massive attention and its still receives its glory to this very day. Taking to Twitter, Ma-E‘s fans took time to celebrate the day that the veteran rapper dropped one of the greatest projects in the game.

One of the tweeps pointed out that Ma-E’s Lie 2 Me featuring AKA from the Township Counsellor album is timeless, which infuriated the legendary rapper. “that joint he had with AKA here is so timeless S/O Ma-Eezy,” reads the tweet. Despite the tweet coming from a place of love and support, the rapper came all guns blazing at the remarks accusing his Twitter follower of not understanding and loving the music.

The angered Ma-E said that the whole project is timeless pointing out that his fans don’t love music rather they just want to dance. “The whole album is timeless just that you guys don’t understand music PERIOD!!! You just don’t love music you just wanna dance,” tweeted Ma-E.

Recently, Ma-E parted ways with K.O’s SkhandaWorld record label. In a statement, the label released a joint statement with Universal Music SA confirming the departures of  Ma-E, JustBheki and DJ Mr X.

“The joint labels sincerely appreciate all the work that Ma-E, JustBheki & DJ Mr X have contributed to the local music industry throughout the years that they have been signed to the joint venture.

“We would like to wish all of the above-mentioned artists nothing but immense success in their respective careers. May they continue to spread their wings and exceed the limitation of the sky,” read the statement.
