Maglera Doe Boy On Why He Doesn’t Call Women “B*tches” In His Music Or In Real Life

Maglera Doe Boy On Why He Doesn’t Call Women “B*tches” In His Music Or In Real Life. The term b*tch is one of the most commonly used phrases in hip-hop, and it makes the music sound cool. Most prominent SA rappers are conscious of this aspect of their profession.

As much as calling women b*tches in raps is very fashionable, Maglera Doe Boy explained in a Twitter thread why he doesn’t share the same point of view. The Kanana rapper stated that he doesn’t swear in his music and he hasn’t done so for the past 8 years. Maglera stated that the American rapper Vincent Stapple is the reason he stopped using the phrase because he believes it encourages people to treat the mothers who raised him differently.

I don’t call women “ b*tches” on my music or real life. I think if you check my music I haven’t done it in almost 8 years now. I heard a Vince staples song once and he said “ calling women b*tches will have you treating your momma different “ and that stuck with me.” He tweeted.

Maglera went on to say that he would rather sing about crime. Something that he had been involved in and that the women who fostered him know about, than to pick lyrics that diminish their significance. “It’s not for “fishing” or “simping” I can never be a man I can’t be around my old lady and my sisters. They know I did crime and all the stuff I speak on. But it would shock them to hear me speak like I wasn’t raised by a single mother and my sisters. Y’all stay safe tho,” he added in a tweet.

Maglera Doe Boy used the epithet “b*tch” in a song four years ago, and he stated it made him feel terrible. Some may find it difficult to believe, but the rapper insisted that he does not even swear in his songs.

I remember I said it once on a feature maybe like 4 years ago and it didn’t feel right anymore. Go watch my first sobering podcast I speak about it. I know it’s a hard concept to take in but I actually don’t even swear a lot even in my music. Close to barely.” Wrote Maglera Doe Boy.
