Nadia Nakai Reacts To AKA’s Metro FM Awards Nominees. The majority of those who witnessed AKA’s rise to fame and progress as a rapper before his death remains devastated. Nadia Nakai has been taking her time in mourning AKA and she has been receiving exceptional support from the Forbes family.
In the midst of mourning the passing of Kiernan Forbes, Nadia Nakai has taken time to find something to celebrate about the rapper’s life. This came after the Supa Mega was nominated for the forthcoming Metro FM Music Awards.
AKA was nominated for six awards and Nadia Nakai expressed how proud she is of her late boyfriend and fellow rapper. “Everyone that wrote me off, gon’ eat sh*t for breakfast!!!” Congratulations baby!!!” Tweeted Nadia Nakai.
AKA was one of the SA rappers who were no longer participating in music awards. His nominees for the forthcoming Metro FM Awards have stirred mixed feelings amongst his Megacy fans. This came after the fans revisited AKA’s sentiments towards awards in the SA music industry and his discontent with participating.
“Megacy. Please stop attacking the SA Hip Hop Awards. I didn’t submit. For my own personal reasons, I no longer submit for awards shows because I no longer believe in the concept of awards. The greatest reward or award is you rocking with me and my music. I wish them all the best,” tweeted AKA.
Even though some have shown resentment in supporting AKA’s Metro Awards nominees some have joined Nadia Nakai in supporting the Supa Mega for the last time.
