Rashid Kay’s video clip of the Masterclass Podcast caused a stir on the timeline after the hip hop activist shared an opinion on an upcoming artist’s rap style and sound. “Phoenixthecool, where is he from, is he from South Africa?”Asked Rashid. He further went on and asked about the artist’s rap style and why he sound like he is not from South Africa. “Why is he sounding so West Coast gangster rap from the South?”

The prospective artist then went on to criticize Rashid Kay for his opinion of him, prompting Emtee to intervene and defended Rashid. “Lol someone just sent me this 🤣 who’s this mosquito in all white now ?” 🦟 Tweeted Phoenixthecool. “Don’t disrespect Rashid just cos of his opinion.
