Mufasa has made it clear that he is working towards releasing new music possibly a body of work. But the award-winning rapper is yet to divulge when the music project will be complete. Taking to Instagram, Cassper Nyovest shared a video clip of him in the studio working on new music with a caption; “Oh we working working.”
Taking from the video, you could hear that the rapper is now working towards releasing some hip-hop sounds again after a lengthy period of dabbling amapiano. Cassper has pledged that he will put out a magnificent music project because he owes it to himself.
The award-winning rapper’s last body of work was Sweet And Short 2.0 which he dropped in 2021. Ever since the rapper has hopped onto the amapiano bandwagon and has also released a few hip-hop songs to stay afloat in the game. His hiatus from South African hip-hop has caused him to crave rap music and he is poised to make rap songs again.
In a video he shared on his Instagram page a few days ago, Cassper admitted that he misses making hip-hop music and he is on the verge of a comeback. “Happy birthday hip-hop, 50 years of hip-hop, I miss you hip-hop, imma be back y’all n*ggas get ready,” he said.
